Dental Implants At Bridge Street Dental
The permanent solution to missing teeth
Are you suffering with a missing tooth (single) or teeth (multiple)? Or are you looking for a better alternative to dentures? We can help you restore your natural smile. Dental implants are an effective and permanent treatment to replace missing teeth.
The design of a dental implant is based on a natural tooth, which has a root which sits below your gum line and a crown that sits above your gum line.
The implant replaces the function of the natural root and if it is looked after properly can last a lifetime. It provides a completely stable foundation for a new crown, by fusing with your jawbone.
Implant crowns (single) or bridges (multiple) are carefully crafted to look and feel like a natural tooth/teeth.
A dental implant feels like part of you, you will quickly forget it is not a real tooth.
- Restores your natural smile
- Improves your self confidence
- Allows you to eat with comfort
- Stops jaw deterioration and preserves facial bone structure
- Helps Maintain a youthful appearance
A dental implant is a small titanium screw which is placed in the upper or lower jawbone. The implant acts as a root to support crowns, bridges or dentures which are intended to replace one or more missing teeth.
The dental implant process usually take between 6-8 weeks from start to finish (but can take longer).
We aim to make your implant procedure as pain free and comfortable as possible. You will be given a local anaesthetic to numb your mouth and if you are particularly nervous about dental treatment let us know as we may be able to offer dental sedation to help relax you.
You may feel some discomfort when the anaesthetic has worn off, and there may some bruising or swelling. But all in all the discomfort is generally small and we will help and advise you to manage this.
Our fee structure has been carefully considered to reflect our high level of specialist care, state-of-the-art equipment and consistently high results. We pride ourselves on being honest about our fees and we will always discuss and explain them clearly. Following your initial consultation, we will send you a report detailing your individual treatment plan, including any estimated costs. If you want to spread the cost of your treatment, we offer monthly payment plans including 0% interest-free options.
